I got a new tattoo today. I love it. The artists did a phenomenaljob but……..

I had some strange advice for the tattoo care. The people at the shop told me not to get it wet and let it dry out.

I must have misunderstood because I have never been told this and I am no tattoo virgin!

If I let it dry out, the scabs will drive me crazy. I can just imagine the things that I will do to keep from scratching and picking at the new tat while it is itchy like that!

Ye gods help me but I am going against their instructions as I cannot understand how in heck they could have meant to not put moisture of some kind on it.
