Country Western dancing was very popular in the early to late 1990’s and is still quite popular in San Diego County where In Cahoots features Country Western dancing every night of the week. There are a couple of nightclubs that offer country western lessons and two dance studios in San Diego. One of the dance studios San Diego, Pattie Wells’ Dancetime Center features occasion Country Western two-step classes and West Coast swing classes three nights weekly. The West Coast swing is very popular in San Diego and across the U.S. Besides dance classes and private lessons, they host several West Coast swing dance parties monthly. They are one of the few dance studios in San Diego to still teach Country western dance lessons and the contemporary form of West Coast swing.
