Why Buy A Truck Unless It Has Good Diesel Performance
November 14th, 2008 . by adminMy roommate just dropped twenty thousand dollars on a brand new Ford 2008 pick-up truck. With the price of fuel these days you have to wonder why someone would spend that kind of money for an obvious fuel guzzler. Surprisingly the diesel performance on this thing is pretty decent, and that is without any after market accessories installed. The fuel efficiency is so good on this truck that it is getting better mileage than my 4-door coupe. Even with exceptional mileage, the reason my roommate opted for a truck over a more economic vehicle like a small car is strictly for business reasons. As a contractor it would be a bit difficult to transport a ladder or drywall around in a 4-door coupe.
