Its not unusual for someone curbstoning to make $1000.00 profit in one day after only a few hours of easy “work.”

But some people say that curbstoners are dirty rotten evil people out to make a quick buck by selling them junk cars.

So what the heck is curbstoning?!

Well, a curbstoner is someone that does curbstoning. Huh? Simply put, curbstoning is when someone that does not have a car dealers license is engaged in buying and selling used cars for profit from their home instead of a used car lot. The person doing it is called a curbstoner and its known as curbstoning because they sell them from the street curb (the curbstone) in front of their house. Get it?

Its true that some curbstoners can be dirty rotten evil rip offs, but anyone with a car dealers license can be a rip off too and just because you don’t have the piece of paper yet, doesn’t mean that that individual is a rip off. Maybe they are in the process of getting their auto dealers license, or maybe they will become an associate under someone else’s license. Whatever they do, the point is that having that legal piece of paper doesn’t make someone instantly honest.
