I have a friend who experienced a scare a month ago while she was walking to her car which was parked on the street late at night. She heard someone walking nearby and the man seemed to be walking toward her as she approached her car. She pressed a loud alarm she carries with her and she was able to scare him away and get home safely. She told me it is important to know what the pepper spray laws are where you live so you know if you can legally carry it and use it. I am certainly going to check in to that for myself.
