Theatre experiences
June 28th, 2008 . by adminIn the late 50’s theatres started to show 3D movies where by you would wear 3D Glasses to see the movie in a realistic sort of hologram like appeal. They thought this would bring more people in to see the movie and it did for a spell then it didn’t really make a difference. The thing is it is expensive to render the movie 3D so the non-inflated ticket sales weren’t worth the extra expense not to mention the glasses cost money as well. 3D didn’t die however as you can still see movies in 3D even with electronic glasses that are wired to the seat so they can reuse a set over and over.
