Selecting unique wedding candle favors

August 26th, 2008 . by admin

Wedding favors have come a long way since the standard "mints tied in lace". There are so many options it can be hard to know where to start. How about unique wedding candle favors? This is something your guest can take home and enjoy! They come in so many different colors and styles that anyone is bound to find something to complement their wedding theme.

For example, you can purchase candles that look like food, or that are wrapped in elegant fabric, or even candles shaped like butterflies. Some come wrapped in designer looking packages. There are so many options when it comes to unique wedding candle favors! One thing to consider though is if you choose a scented candle to pick something light and not overpowering.

My Daughter is Only 13

August 23rd, 2008 . by admin

Why do kids want to grow up so fast? I know my mom probably asked that same question when I was growing up, but seriously, kids today are so anxious to be adults that it scares me. She wants to go to parties, have boyfriends, get a tattoo and if I would let her, probably drink beer too. (Too bad, kiddo) Tattoos for women are great. But tattoos on girls that are too young are nothing short of tacky. Try explaining this to a thirteen-year-old who thinks they are already grown and ready to make life-altering decisions. I know she will make good decisions when she is older, but for now, I’m making a few of the calls.

The Charm Of Lower Back Tattoos

August 16th, 2008 . by admin

Of all the places women decide to get a tattoo, one of the most often considered areas to receive it is on the lower back.

Lower back tattoos are especially beautiful, with artfully curved ribbons & lines, skillfully placed to give allure to the bearer.

Included with the line designs may be birds, bees, butterflies, dragon & damsel flies, flowers, leaves, hearts & many other attractive flora & fauna, insects & animals.

The lower back is a very appealing site for tattoo placement, accentuating feminine lines & curves of the lower torso & emphasizing the beautiful appearance of the womanly body.

I Think That Acting is Fun.

August 16th, 2008 . by admin

I really love to act and I always have. Ever since I can remember I have wanted to get into acting. I think it was because I used to watch movies with my father a lot when I was a kid and I always thought that it would be wonderful to be on screen like that. So I have been dabbling in bit parts for about five years now and I think that I am finally going to be picked up by an agency soon. I have an appointment with one next week and I am crossing all of my fingers.

Many Different World Instruments

August 9th, 2008 . by admin

There are thousands of different world instruments from all over. Come and experience the exotic, the tribal, the mystic sounds of just a few of these instruments.

The Djembe is a hand drum from West Africa. It is made of wood and has an animal skin cover. Because of it’s shape, it can make a wide range of sounds.

How about the Kora. The Kora is a 21 string harp that also originated in West Africa. It is made from a calabash gourd covered with animal skin. Did you know that the Kora, was actually an inspiration for the Banjo?

Soulja Boy latest release undergoes a name change

August 4th, 2008 . by admin

The Soulja Boy Back to School album has had a name change. The album is now called iSouljaBoy and is scheduled for a fall release date. Soulja boy expects to really entertain his fans with additional features that he produced along side Polow Da Don. Aside from trying to make news with the promotion of his new album, Soulja Boy has traded a few jabs with the legendary Ice-T recently. Ice-t reportedly said some very disparaging remarks about Soulja Boy’s music style. He later apologized for those degrading remarks but still believes that Soulja Boy’s music is not the best.

Need to find the sweet spot of decent quality and reasonable price

August 3rd, 2008 . by admin

I need to get myself an acoustic guitar. I’ve always wanted to play the guitar, but hey…life gets in the way, you know? Now I finally have some time to spare and I want to get started before something pops up to distract me. I wanna find an acoustic beginner guitar that’s good enough to make some decent music, but doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. When I was in my teens, a friend of mine thought he was going to learn to play, but he had this total piece of junk for an instrument. Now, of course, neither of us could have made music on that guitar even if it  was a Fender Strat, but still, I could compare it to other guitars I’ve messed around with and tell that nobody was going to get nice sounds out of that thing. And if they did manage to, well…it was just too much like work. So, I don’t want to spend a fortune, but I definitely want to avoid that scenario.

Initial Apprehension With Salsa Dance Lessons

July 11th, 2008 . by admin

Since joining a modest grouping of pupils for Salsa Dance Lessons, I have seen a new side to my persona; I am in reality having fun, and this is occurring more and more in my little life, and I have the Factory Gym to thank for this. The teacher really brings pupils out of their shells, and she REALLY knows her stuff. Its so relaxing understanding you are amongst friends, and can make a sap of yourself occasionally.I hope you can join me at the gym for some exciting dancing, as well as keeping in trim whilst having fun too. Its really good value, and they cater to all standards.

Need wedding photos?

July 7th, 2008 . by admin

My grandmother once told me that my wedding day was going to be one the happiest moments in my life. That message has been stuck in my head as I now plan for my own wedding. To me capturing the essence of this day in photographs is the best way to relive these moments for years to come. With that being said, I have been looking for great wedding photography in West Yorkshire and have come across the established and distinguished Breeze Images. It seems that this company’s desire is to capture those memories in beautiful photos that can never be forgotten.

We got henna tattoos at a party.

June 11th, 2008 . by admin

My sister and I both are belly dancers and were invited to a halfla recently where as part of the fun some of the other dancers were applying henna tattoos.

I had an intricate snake done on my calf and my sister had a star design on her hand. Henna is an herbal paste that deposits a reddish stain on the skin and leaves the design for up to 3 weeks in the right condition.

Some of the designs that were done at that party were just amazing. The ladies who did them are well practiced and set up a booth at local events also.

Mine lasted about 5 days and my sister’s lasted about 3. We are both really pale so I didn’t expect them to last long.

Longest tattoo session.

May 26th, 2008 . by admin

Two people have set the world record for the longest tattoo sessions in the history of mankind. These two people are Stephen Grady and Melanie Grieveson and the session lasted for 43 hours and 50 minutes. Boy! I would have died from the pain.

I know I dont have a lot of tatoo designs on my body , but that’s because the process is really painful and I am unable to imagine how these persons could bear that pain for as long as 43 hours.

This just goes to show how we are all different and have different thresholds of pain. Some people might cry even when a nail breaks while others can easily bear it when they break an arm or a leg. Just the grace of God.

Well , anyways I just want to congratulate these two people for their world record.
