The creativity of the Chinese was evident in their opening production of this year’s Olympic Games. It was a showcase of their talents. They had hundreds of men beat the drums with their hands with choreography and they also had dancers do their calligraphy. China is well-known in their unique culture and exceptional arts. The opening production also displayed the different Chinese instruments. They have plucked instruments and as well as those that are bowed. They have instruments just like the guitar and they call it a Ruan, which has four strings. They also have their own harp which they call Konghou. The tone of their harp is mellow and has a touch of their culture.

There are a number of careers you can make from having dancing skills. There are many singers these days who incorporate dancing skills. In fact there are artists where dancing is a big part of their act.
Many of these singers are talented dancers as well. And in fact you can get dancing tips from them that would even rival those of professional dancers.
The dancing that singers and musicians do varies. Often it’s very basic choreography with very simple steps.
And then there are singers who have obviously had a lot of dance practise and can pull off complex routines, Michael Jackson and Omarion to name two.

These are the country music song lyrics for Bobby Bare’s Candy Coated Kisses.
You speak and the words flow like honey your kiss holds a promise so sweet
But all of these things that you tell me you tell to each new love you meet
Candy coated kisses sugar coated lies
Oh how I want to believe them but only a fool would try
You smile and my whole world turns sunny you know just the right things to say
Your words paint such beautiful pictures pictures that soon fade away
How many hearts have you broken how many lips have you kissed
I don’t wanna know so don’t tell me just add my name to your list
Candy coated kisses…
Only a fool would try only a fool would try (candy coated kisses)

Chinese tattoo designs are complicated in a way that every stroke has to be precise. An extra or missing stroke can make a whole lot of difference and can actually give a different meaning to your tattoo. This is why you should also go to an artist who is familiar with Chinese tattoo designs. Someone who would understand the discrepancies and is smart enough to not alter anything in the design after all, this is a precise language and one small alteration can make a world of difference. In the end, you wouldn’t want to end up with a tattoo which isn’t what you intended to get. So research and ask for help to make sure everything is in order.

Christmas is coming up and my husband, who is one of the hardest people to shop for has finally given me a tip on what he would like as a Christmas gift. The last few weeks he has gotten a sudden passion to learn and master guitar playing. He does not have a guitar so that is the first plan. But I want to get him some type of way to learn how to play. I have checked with local companies and individuals who give guitar lessons and they are too pricy for us at this time. I have found some programs and training courses on the internet that I can order and give to him with the guitar so he can fulfill his goal and mater the guitar.

Because of the clothing worn by the 1990s rap artists, youngsters from that era imitated them. Thus over-sized jeans showing off underwear was a style born. Add to that over-sized shirts and you end up with a way of not only making rappers stand out, but those who follow the rap as well. At the time when rap was a music of inner city dwellers, the clothing was a way to distinguish between lower-class urban youth and upper-class youth. The lyrics of the songs reflecting gang life, violence, sexuality and drugs made it even more so. Rap became the music of a whole new counterculture of people.

Guitar playing just seems like an American thing to do. Many of the songs I love have a patriotic theme and are sung to the accompaniment of a guitar. So, I guess you could say that my wanting to learn guitar came about as a patriotic thing to do. Driving into town on a regular basis to take scheduled lessons just did not fit into my life style so I had to look elsewhere if I wanted to learn to play one. Then, www.guitar5day.com offered me a DVD training program that seemed to be designed for someone such as me.

I feel so lucky. I work in a very upscale and trendy restaurant in San Francisco, and sometimes we will have some well known actors and actresses come in to dine. I have had the pleasure of meeting a few of them, and they actually let me take pictures with them. I have a little stash of celebrity pictures that I have kept over the years. It’s probably up to about 10 or so. I wish I was able to have them signed, but just having met them was exciting enough. I can’t wait to see who I’ll meet in the future.

There was a television show not that long ago called ‘Faking It’ that was a good watch. On one episode they tried to teach a dancer to fit into a performance as a backing dancer in a few weeks or so. Amongst the audience were some dancing experts and from amongst all the dancers they had to choose who was faking it. Most the people though that another real professional dancer was faking it, and not the faker!
This happens in other episodes as well as the dance one. Which got me thinking: how hard is it to become a backing dancer? It would seem from the show that with intense practice anyone could do it.
Having said that in all the ‘Faking It’ shows the advantage the participants have is they only need to do one perfromance. So learn just one performance to professional standard of whatever skill they’re doing rather than loads of different skills like a real dancer. It is an inspiring episode though!
