Learning Piano through DVD

April 10th, 2009 . by admin

There are lots of ways that you can learn the piano. There are numerous e-books, audios, videos, and even DVD’s out in the market already. You can even choose the level of learning how to play the piano (i.e. beginner, intermediate, or advanced). There are also the all-in-one kits like the rocket piano lessons wherein there is already a video and e-book incorporated in it.

For those who really want to pursue learning how to play the piano until the advanced stages, I would suggest the rocket piano lessons. At least, it is an all-in-one kit already. For more information, read this review of rocket piano.

Choosing a Professional Portrait Photographer

April 10th, 2009 . by admin

There are many people that call themselves experts and professionals but in order to be a true professional portrait photographer there are several things you have to be.  When I was looking for a portrait photographer in DC I made a list of things I was looking for.  First he had to treat me like a person.  The friendlier the person is the more natural you will look in the pictures.  Second he had to be creative.  If I am not creative I will have no idea what kind of pictures I want, but an expert in this field will have all kinds of ideas to make the portraits memorable.

Ghost hunter programs

March 22nd, 2009 . by admin

There are so many ghost hunter programs on tv lately, they are growing more and more, and more and more popular. But I’m addicted, I’m sure. I can’t stop watching them. Oh I know they are mostly hokey with over acting theatricals and fake noises and no real things happening at all other than people panicking at every draft or bump. But a few, now and then, seem to be a little more genuine. And these are the ones I particularly like - though I’ll admit, I love them all. Sometimes, more inexplicable things happen than can be properly explained, and these are where the mystery and intrigue really lie. Well, they keep me coming back.

Best Guitar Websites

March 21st, 2009 . by admin

I am interested for a fan and a musician point of view what are the best guitar websites on the Internet right now. I have been a fan of one particular site but it seems like lately they keep posting the same information and I think it is time that I start looking for other sites and more information. I will continue to use my site as a reference but I need to get more rounded information out there and not just stick to the one site that I already trust. I think it is time to expand my horizons.

Interior Design Internships in USA

March 15th, 2009 . by admin

Living in the states it’s not hard to find interior design courses either on or offline. But, when you want an Interior Design Internship that’s not far from where you live it seems to be a different story. I did find the above site which helped a great deal and eventually let me narrow down my search to find a good internship that was only 40 minutes drive from my house. Without this I might still be looking now. In terior design is a passion and when you know in your heart that it’s your calling you have to follow it. I would have probably taken an Internship even if it was a 3 hour drive.

Meet Friends With Used Guitars

March 6th, 2009 . by admin

I have been in college for a year now and I can honestly say that I have really enjoyed it and am looking forward to another year.  I do want to be be involved in more school activities but I am not sure what I want to do.  I do own a few used guitars and there just happens to be a little group that gets together and just plays music.  In my opinion, that sounds like that could be a lot of fun, so I am going to see I can go about getting involved with them.  I think I can catch them after my final class tomorrow afternoon and then we will see.

Old Rusty Car Art

March 3rd, 2009 . by admin

Old rusty cars are kind of a passion of mine. It all started when I was taking photography classes in college. A friend and I saw a rust bucket in a grocery store parking lot, and he remarked that the rust was almost art. My camera was in my car, so just as a joke, I snapped some pictures of that old car. Ever since, whenever I see an orangey red spectacle, I just have to add it to my collection. Who knew it would turn out so cool? For Christmas, I plan to make online photo calendar of my best specimens for gifts.

Happy 66th Birthday To George Harrison

February 26th, 2009 . by admin

The “quiet Beatle” would have been 66 years old today if he were still living. Sadly George Harrison died in 2001 from complications from cancer. But his birthday is not a day to mourn Harrison’s death but instead to celebrate his life and his music.

This celebration shouldn’t only be about thinking of all of the George Harrison Trivia we can but also celebrating the whole of his life and his work.

Harrison was a spiritual man and I hope for his sake and for all of our sakes that he is in a “better place” now.

I know of one thing for sure, Harrison helped make this world a better place during his life for everyone who truly loves music.

Feedback on the tarot layouts system

February 8th, 2009 . by admin

Wow, lots of great feedback on the Tarot layouts systemthat I’ve been using. Thank you for your suggestions. It definitely sounds like you could use it, but there were some great questions that need addressing.First off, the system is NOTHING like the junk/spam systemsthat already exist. Those systems have been around forYEARS but all they do is scrape (steal) content from otherwebsites or RSS feeds and post it to your website. Notonly is it not a very ethical practice, but it simply doesn’twork anymore. Google hates the duplicate content and justignores it most of the time.

African Instruments: Symbol For The Grandeur That Is Africa

February 7th, 2009 . by admin

The likely thinking when we talk of Africa is that the country is poor.  It’s both right and wrong.  Africa is not a country, but yes the continent remains the poorest one (excluding Antarctica, of course).  But perhaps the biggest blaze of glory of Africa is its culture.  The cultural identities of many African nations have been preserved until now.  You can even say it from there musical instruments.  The African instruments serve as huge symbols of what Africa really stands for.  It is nice if we take notice of the grandeur that is Africa through its culture and music.
