A good friend of mine got the job of a lifetime.  He almost didn’t get it though.  He was going to pass on looking for internships in college. He felt like it wasn’t necessary.  Fortunately a professor talked him into it.  Saying it was great job experience.  From that summer job, he was hired right away after school.  Since then he has been promoted several times, and in charge of his own engineering team.  He is a major player at his company.  He always laughs that it might not have happened that way.  Good thing he listened to his professor.

My brother called me up the other day to tell me about his latest financial venture. It would be his third one this year. He was going into the marketing video business as of yesterday. I asked him a few questions about it and he gave me very solid answers. I decided after that conversation to go online and look up these types of ventures and see how they work out. I am always a skeptic and he is my baby brother so I have to look out for him and make sure he does not throw away his money or his life.

I was talking to a friend the other day who has a job that she has been doing from home for about 2 years. She told me it was one of the easiest things she has ever done, and she can’t believe she actually gets paid to do it.
