Big Time Adventure

October 27th, 2009 . by admin

My family recently traveled to South Carolina for our yearly trip.  We made a stop at Carowinds Amusement and Water Park and are we glad we did.  This is a must see if you are near the North Carolina/South Carolina border.  It is just minutes from Charlotte and it is 112 acres of pure adventure.  There are 60 rides and attractions to keep any family busy.  My son loved Scooby Doo’s Haunted mansion and I have never screamed so loud while riding the Carolina Cyclone.  That sixty-five foot drop really gets your heart racing.  My family agrees that our South Carolina vacations are the best.

Fiji Honeymoon Destinations

October 26th, 2009 . by admin

Planning and booking the perfect Fiji honeymoons takes a little hands-on experience from thsoe who have visited beforehand.

Bora Bora is viewed as the romantic destination for all honeymooners. It’s home to just 5,000 locals and surrounded by many islands and coral reefs. There are many luxury resorts with private hideaways for couples. No matter the kind of honeymoon vacation you’re planning, Bora Bora is a must when visiting French Polynesia.

The hotel you select will help your stay be more delightful and choosing between a large resort with families may not be what you want on your honeymoon. A small intimate hotel with privacy for it’s visitors is probably more likely what you want to plan on for this speicial getaway.

What a trip!

October 26th, 2009 . by admin

We had the best time this past summer on ourVenice Italy vacation!  We took ten days out of our lives and experienced the best times I think I have ever had!  There were so many things to do and to see–museums, historical churches, and important landmarks.  For my wife and I, it was almost like a second honeymoon as we dined at fabulous restaurants and travelled by gondola around the city.  Love is certainly in the air in this city!  The people were very friendly and the scenery was unbelievable!  We are saving our pennies not for a rainy day but for a return visit…just as soon as we can!

Grad Nite at Walt Disney World is The Place to be This Spring

October 26th, 2009 . by admin

When you are a senior in high school and you near the end of the year, you have probably made all of the necessary plans and are all set for college in the fall.  If you have found that there is nothing else left to do but wait, you will want to reconsider this thought.  Disney Grad Nite is the best way to celebrate your graduation with the classmates and friends you have had throughout your time in school.  Since there is nothing left to do but party and celebrate in the spring of the senior year, this certainly is the place you will want to be.

Going away makes you feel better

October 23rd, 2009 . by admin

Don’t you feel awful when it’s almost the weekend and you have utterly no plans whatsoever? It makes you think you’ve lost another two 24-hour intervals of your lifespan as you’ve nearly likely passed it on the lounge viewing videos and eating fried chicken. Why not go someplace for the weekend, doesn’t have to be far-off, possibly somewhere like Brighton? It’s easy to get to from London by automobile, bus or train and it doesn’t take long. There are tons of brighton holiday apartments you can look at for the weekend all at special monetary values. So why not have a small break by the ocean and visit Brighton?

Vacation Rentals Allow Vacationers To Save More Cash

October 20th, 2009 . by admin

There are many places that you can stay in while on a vacation, but one of the nicest of course, is to rent a vacation home for your get away. You can also bring along more people with you on this type of vacation, allowing you to cut your holiday costs even more. The nice thing about vacation rentals is that you can also eat in more, since they are equipped with a kitchen, and you can also save quite a bit of money on food, allowing you to do more activities and buy more souvenirs while you are enjoying your vacation.

French life on Sundays

October 19th, 2009 . by admin

When I first started holidaying in France over 30 years ago, I was charmed by what I called the Sunday parade. This seemed a real institution of French Life.In towns and villages all over the country, there would be a dearth of people mid-morning on Sundays. However, as the church bells started ringing and the congregation spilled out onto the square, it soon filled with adults’ chatter and children’s shouts.Groups dispersed gradually to go to the waiting boulangeries with their exquisite cake displays and then the parade began. Families would walk past, the children being forced to restrict their play to preserve their Sunday best clothes, and parents carrying the prettily boxed cakes to be eaten after lunch. The sudden hubbub faded gradually to leave a newly deserted square as everyone returned home for the all important Sunday meal. For me this epitomised many aspects of French life.

You Can Save Money By Booking A Flight Last Minute

October 9th, 2009 . by admin

I am always going online and signing up for different kinds of newsletter that give tips and advice about saving money.  I recently got one about how to book a flight and save money at the same time.  The key to make sure to find out exactly what you want and see if you can find it in the price range you want.  I always want to reserve my spot far in advanced, but sometimes it is better to wait at the last minute because they want to fill the planes to capacity.  I have shared this information with my friends and family and they love it.

I thought nothing comes free anymore but free travel guides proved me wrong.  I was amazed to find out that anybody who dares to seek can get free travel guides for virtually any destination.  This is what I found out when I search the internet for free travel guides for my planned trip to Canada this Thanksgiving.

I plan to go there by car so the free travel guides I was able to get are very important for my trip.  Though I expect my travel to Canada to be a short once since I will be coming from New York, it is my first time to take that route.  I will need all the information I can get to ensure my safe and easy travel.

The free vacation brochures I got were complete with maps and recommended routes.  There are also info on pit stops, tips on traveling, and social expectations and a lot of other important matters in my destination.  With the help of these free travel guides, I know I will have a relaxing and enjoyable trip.
