Bigpoint just released international open beta testing for a new MMORPG.  The game, entitled “Kultan: The World Beyond” became available to the public starting today following much hype.  The game is currently available online for free play and offered in four different languages, English, Spanish, Italian and French.

The fantasy game takes place in Kultan, a long forgotten about mystical continent.  Once players have reached the continent via sailing along on an epic filled journey, there are different quests and challenges to master.  Most of the game is played in the open sea, with players choosing between 36 different ship vessels to utilize.  The ships are totally customizable, which is a neat feature.  Battles between your enemies often take place on board these large ships in order to establish who can officially claim and control the ocean waters. 

The game offers the ability to select between three different classes and according to the makers, this choice is a very important one.  “The character development of the three available classes is just as important as recruiting the right officers to hone the player’s skills and strategy and keep their crew’s morale high. Players can select their captain from one of three detailed factions.”
