The practice combines aspects from the mainstream and alternative medicine and there is no agreement about how to really define the practice. Though these professionals have many characteristics of primary care providers, this practice is more like dentistry and of the special medicinal practices. It must be noted that these practitioners specialize in nonsurgical spine care, but the view of chiropractic care is still expanding and it has been accepted by medical community.
