We are faced with a number of different eating choices, from low carb, low fat, South Beach, high protein, packaged diet plans, and then some ones that believe in the value of fruits and vegetables. There are some stated benefits to eating raw food and health. People feel that most of the nutrients are cooked out of foods, and many feel that there are also enzymes that are of value to our bodies that aren’t able to be accessed if food is cooked. Careful cleaning of hands and food is necessary to ensure foods exposed to harmful bacteria are not taken into our bodies.
