What’s a Healthy Diet on Which to Lose Weight?

A healthy diet should be based on the food pyramid. Make sure that you’re getting plenty of protein, as well as carbohydrates, which come primarily from fruits and vegetables and also from a small amount of cereal foods like bread and oatmeal. Don’t be tempted by fad diets which promise that you can lose enormous amounts of weight in just a few days. These diets don’t work, and in addition some of them are actually so unhealthy that they could cause you ongoing health problems. Base your diet on fruits and vegetables, and protein. Eat no more than two slices of bread a day. When you focus on protein, you’ll find that you’re not hungry, and that your fast food cravings go away.
