One of the best things we have in our backyard are the bats.   We can sit on our deck and watch them swoop through the summer skies catching and eating insects that would otherwise be pests to we humans enjoy the great outdoors.  We would have continued to think of them as our friends if they had not tried to move into our house.  When that happened they moved into the realm of pest and we needed to enlist bat pest control measures.  We needed to plug the holes they were using,  get them out of the house,  and then clean up the mess that had accumulated from their droppings.
