I never realized how many self defense weapons were actually available to the public for purchase. Most of self defense items I recently viewed on line look like devices out of a movie about a prison break or something along those lines. There was everything from stun guns, tasers, and electroshock batons to lip stick mace and martial arts kubatons. I know that brass knuckles are illegal, but I saw a glove that has metal inserted along the tops of the fingers and over the top of the hand. Doesn’t this have the same effect? I always thought pepper spray was enough to do the trick. Apparently not.
