When my company transferred me to Washington, our health benefits changed, and my wife Christine and I weren’t happy with the new options my work provided. Christine had a friend in Seattle, and when she called her, her friend said that even though Washington insurance was subject to different rules than our home state, there were a lot of great options. Christine did all the research, and we chose a policy we actually liked better than the one we had in California. I’m still getting used to experiencing all four seasons, but it feels great to know we were able to take care of what’s important.
