My mother used to call me a child bride and she wasn’t far wrong.  Back in the 1960′s it was common for couples to marry after graduating from high school, and that’s what I did.  Three sons quickly came along and shorty after I found myself single.  Even though I was very young, I was determined to learn the single parenting skills I needed to raise the boys.  With a lot of help and hard work I managed to clothe, feed, educate, and amuse my sons.  We had a lot of fun and I learned as much from them as they did from me.  In a way, we all grew up together.
