Increasing Government Transparency Will Eliminate Wasteful Spending

Government transparency is increased and citizens are more aware of what they are actually funding. Think about it. How quick would you be to support a research project that does nothing to increase the greater good by finding a cure for a disease, or ways to prevent certain illnesses? What if you realized that your tax dollars were funding the furtherance of a scientist’s curiosity and nothing more? You would not want to continue to contribute to such waste.
