If I had to choose to get a pet than I think that I would be getting a cat. These animals are just so much easier to take care of than a dog and they do not require a ton of maintenance. You can also leave them alone for a few hours and not worry that they are going to eat your favorite shoes or have an accident all over your brand new carpet.

In fact these little guys actually have their own private bathroom called the litter box. This is a simple container that holds the sand or cat litter that the cat will do its business in. Most people will place this box in a bathroom or an area of the home where a lot of people, that are visiting, will not accidentally run into it. That is never fun!

You are going to have to make sure that you change out this litter every day. Go into the room and use the litter scoop to remove everything. Make sure that you have a plastic bag nearby to dump it all inside of. Also make sure that the bag does not have a hole. This is not fun to deal with.

Once you have emptied it out you will throw the bag into the garbage. About once a week you should be removing the entire litter and replacing it with a fresh new batch. This is easy enough to do and is going to protect the cat health and prevent them from ever getting sick.
