My dad is 74 years old when I visited him last week in Florida he took me to see his attorney to discuss his last will and testament.  It was very troubling for me to hear about any scenarios they dealt with my dad dying. When we talked to the attorney my dad said he wanted me to be the executor of will for his estate. The attorney stated all of the things that an executor of will had to do, it seemed so complicated, it made me very nervous.  The executor of will has a duty to effectively protect, preserve and distribute my dad’s assets.  When I heard all this I decided that I really didn’t want to do it.
